I would like to take this time to let you know how being
a part of the inaugural Art of Recovery Expo was for HumanWisdom, LLC.
The Art of Recovery was so well organized. I would encourage anyone
thinking of signing up for next year to do so. The presentations were on
time, the traffic of individuals, families, was well handled. The
atmosphere was joyful. You and Bill did an outrageous job of connecting
businesses with individuals, through your hard work and dedication. I
can say I am already looking forward to next years Art of Recovery.
Anything I can do to assist in making next year’s Art of Recovery as
or more successful let me know.Thank you both for the wonderful
opportunity to particapate in such a amazing day of Art of
Recovery.Blessings. --Kay Bennett Ph.D.

M.A.D.D. really enjoyed being at the Art to Recovery
Expo. I enjoyed meeting the representatives from the other organizations
that were there, and made some good contacts. I enjoyed hearing Mr.
Lawford speak so freely about his family and experience with drugs and
alcohol abuse.—Jess Federico , VIP &
Volunteer Coordinator , MADD Arizona State Organization
Sign us up for next year’s event! We had a fabulous
and profitable experience at the first Art of Recovery event and can’t
wait to be involved in the next event. We felt that Barbara and Bill
Brown did an excellent job at promoting rhe event and are well
qualified, positive people. It was well worth our investment of time and
money.—KC Miller, Director, Southwest
Institute of Healing Arts
I want to sincerely thank both of you for having Dr.
Steve, David Jahr and myself to the Art of Recovery Expo. The Expo was
well attended with people that had a "heart for recovery". The
energy was of the highest level and the Recovery Radio Show. Had a great
time doing live interviews on KFNX 1100 Am from 1:00Pm to 2:00Pm and
4:00Pm to 5:00pm. The 2 keynote speakers, Nick Lowery and Christopher
Kennedy Lawford were the highlight and class of the Expo. You and Bill
have created a great big image of a "Heart for Recovery" in
the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. My wish and vision is that the
RRS can partner up with Art for Recovery Expo in the greater Southern
California area for next year. God Bless you for all the work and
service you both do for all of us addicts.--Bob Munck
Thanks for your hard work. We had a great time and
would definetley like to participate next year.—Christina
L. Hurst, MSW Arizona Department of Health Services Office of Infectious
Diseases Hepatitis C Program
The Expo was wonderful. I was able to make contact
with a lot of people I only previously knew by email and established a
few new ones too. I expect that next year’s event will be much larger
with far more booths and information and I can assure you that anyone
who asks me will be advised to be a part of it. —Dr. Bill
Gallagher, Run Drugs Out of Town Run
The Art of Recovery was great. I have helped several
people with credit issues that I know will pay off in the future. The
class I taught went over very well. Throughout the day I put 18
(Eighteen) different families through that presentation. All in all a
great first effort that I know will grow to be THE EVENT. God bless for
all that you do. —Bill Howe, President Howe Mortgage
Thank you for a wonderful event. —Thomas Ameen,
House of Miracles
Thank you, Barbara and Bill, for all your hard work
and congratulations on a great event! Brough Stewart and Farol Sax had a
wonderful time getting acquainted and re-acquainted with many clinicians
and programs; all and all a very valuable experience.—Tom

it! Proverbs 17:17— Nick Lowery, NLF

to quite a few people wanting recovery services. Great success and fun!—Paula

Barbara and Bill, YOU both "dance"
beautifully together. The Art of Recovery Expo, "Dance to the Music
of Life" was a beautiful experience for many people and you helped
provide this wonderful service. All who had stopped by the FRC booth
were both pleased and excited that the event was open to the public AND
many had commented on what a great idea it was to provide such valuable
information on resources available. We did very well with meeting people
and providing information about FRC. Thank you! I am happy to have been
a part of this great service event and look forward to helping you again
with next year’s Expo. It is all about helping people. Thanks again,
peace and blessings.—Bonnie Wasniewski,
Marketing/Public Relations Director, Franciscan Renewal Center
I just wanted to say thank you for letting me be a
part of such a wonderful event! It was so nice to be around such loving,
kind people and be a part of the first groundbreaking event that will
lead to many more great things to come! —Thank you, Melanie Monroe,
Sparkle and Glitter, Inc.
A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL! You helped make this EXPO
a milestone in the National Recovery Month here in Phoenix. Preliminary
numbers tells us that attendance was upwards of 3000 !!!! YOU really did
some fabulous outreach service work. AND....if you were unable to make
it to the event you missed an incredible gathering of recovery groups,
people and organizations — and an inspiring talk by Chris Kennedy
Lawford. Let’s give Barbara and Bill Brown, Founders of The Art of
Recovery, praise for seeing a need and filling it - THEY ARE THE BEST!—Marylou
Bernasek, Volunteer Coordinator
I wanted to add my "Bravo" to a wonderful
event. I think the most impressive thing was the people who made
statements like " I am so glad this event is here,- We’ve never
had anything like this before, etc " ... and the huge number of the
therapists and service people who had no idea there were as many
resources as there are in the greater Phoenix and Tucson area. This year
was only the beginning. Next year we need to double the size and come
out even more proud and loud. Great job Barbara and Bill. Sign us up for
next year! —Dr Dina Evan
